    Eating dark chocolate promotes the production of endorphins and serotonin in your brain. Endorphins are chemicals which make you feel positive. Serotonin is a natural antidepressant (the ‘happy’ hormone), thus helping to boost your mood and general wellbeing.

  2. Bananas

    Bananas provide serious fuel for boosting your mood. They contain vitamin B6, which aids the conversion of tryptophan (amino acid) into serotonin, the happy hormone.

  3. Antioxidants

    Such as raspberries, cranberries, and watermelon. Antioxidants reduced brain inflammation which is known to be linked to depression.

    In addition to eating mood-boosting foods, do not forget to keep active, keep hydrated and do not skip meals.
