With the closure of gyms and fitness classes, staying motivated to keep active at home is a hurdle. Here are fun ways to keep moving at home.

  1. Walk around your home when you are on the phone catching up with pals.
  2. Clean, clean, clean! Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting are all physical activities.
  3. Dance to some music.
  4. If you are working from home, try doing ten squats each time you make yourself a cuppa or complete a work task.
  5. Follow a workout video – there are many on YouTube.
  6. Walk to the shop rather than drive.
  7. Try some gardening.
  8. Go for daily walks.
  9. Set a goal of daily steps!
